As you may know, 40 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and 1 Cocker Spaniel were left abandoned to fend for themselves. This comes after only two before when 51 Maltese dogs were dumped in similar circumstances. HSNT believes these animals to have been dumped by a puppy mill but this is not confirmed at this point. All of the Spaniels have been adopted or placed with the CKCS Club of America for further rehab before placement. The Maltese are with the Flower Mound Animal Services and Flower Mound Humane Society but it is our understanding that they also have homes for each of them.

With all of these dogs now safe and sound we want to place all of our focus on finding who did this!

HSNT has offered a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction for the person(s) responsible for this. This reward has now had generous donors adding to this making the reward offered now $1000. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Denton County Sheriff's Department or our Investigations staff at 817-332-4768 *113 or via email by clicking here.
