56 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixed dogs (18 puppies and 38 adults) from a White
Settlement residence on Tuesday, April 19. April, 2005.

44 cats and kittens from a residence in North Fort Worth, Texas on Thursday,

74 Rabbits rescued from a Fort Worth home during the Easter Holiday
The Humane Society of North Texas removed 74 rabbits on Friday, March 25th
from a South Fort Worth home. The rescued rabbits consisted of males, females
and many newborns that were surrendered by the owner due to overwhelming
circumstances. While in the owners care, the rabbits were properly maintained;
however, 98% of the rabbits were not spayed or neutered. The population
grew at an alarming rate in which the owner was unable to manage. March,

How the Humane Society became "Modern Day Horse Thieves"
On June 6, 2004, Wise County officials called, asking HSNT to assist in
a large-scale seizure of horses in Paradise, Texas. HSNT was onsite and
helped in the removal of 27 horses that needed immediate life-saving intervention.
The owner, Dr. Elizabeth Rohr, was a familiar name, as HSNT had removed
horses from her property in 2002. June 2004
