Roscoe's Story

In 2013, one of my cousins was doing some volunteer work at HSNT and told me I had to come see this dog. I hadn’t planned on getting a dog, but I had to come see what she was talking about. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the sweetest face. I sat down on the floor to get closer to him and Roscoe melted right into my lap. I fell in love instantly and knew I couldn’t leave without him. He has been my whole heart ever since I brought him home. Roscoe is the sweetest boy and I can’t imagine not having him in my life. He was certainly the best impulse decision I’ve ever made. Since bringing Roscoe home, various family members have adopted 6 different dogs from HSNT. I’ve recently become a volunteer as well, because I wanted to give back to a program that gave me so much.
