Howl's Story

Hello Keller HSNT!

Just want to say thank you again for being the proxy for our perfect match! You might remember this sweet pup came in at the end of November and I adopted him on December 1.

We (my 9yo son, 11yo daughter, and me) renamed him “Howl” (aka Howly, Howlerton, Howler), even though we’ve only heard him bark a handful of times. We were very patient with him as he learned to adjust to our routine and he was patient with us as we learned how to care for a small dog.

Within 2 weeks, it was very clear: he was MADE for our family. He loves to be cuddled, held and pet most of the day. He mostly likes to nap while the kids are at school and I work from home. When the kids get home, he plays fetch and does all kinds of new tricks! He goes everywhere with us. And he even mastered walking on the leash! He only had maybe 5 accidents in the house before he mastered house training and he loves his new cousins—“the girls”—2 greyhound rescues.

Just want to say thank you for all you do to help our community find our “pack”!
