Adoption Saves Lives

When you adopt a pet from a local shelter, you are really saving more than one life! Not only do you provide that pet with a loving family and home but you also create needed space in the shelter which can be used to house another pet who may also find their forever family. This means every adoption becomes twice as meaningful - saving two lives instead of one! Furthermore, by rescuing a shelter pet, you help to reduce the financial burden on shelters that would otherwise have to supply food, medical care, grooming, and daily care for each pet they house. These cost savings can then be put towards helping other animals in need.

At HSNT, all adoptable pets come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. This means that all of the necessary initial medical care has already been taken care of before you bring your new pet home.

Adopting a pet can also be incredibly rewarding, especially when you’re giving your pet a second chance at life. Many of the pets coming into a shelter have been through all kinds of traumas and hardships before making it to us, so by providing your new pet with a loving home, you’re not only helping out the shelter but also giving a deserving pet all the joy and comfort they deserve.

At HSNT, we save thousands of lives every year through our adoption initiatives. Our team is dedicated to rehabilitating animals that have been rescued from cruelty, neglect, and abuse. We hold adoption events every weekend with our charitable partnerships with Petco and PetSmart. Through these events, hundreds of pets are transported to the Northeast to shelters who have fewer homeless pets and more people ready to love them.

Our medical care and foster heroes programs help rehabilitate pets for better chances of successful adoption stories. To ensure this success, a dedicated animal behaviorist team trains and evaluates pets to prepare them for their forever homes.

We hold adoption events every weekend with our charitable partnerships with Petco and PetSmart, giving our pets the exposure they need to find their families. We also partner with numerous organizations out of state by transporting pets, giving hundreds of pets the chance to find a loving home in the Northeast. Through our medical care and foster heroes programs, these animals receive the necessary treatments and rehabilitative care they need for successful adoptions.

Adopting from your local shelter is truly a win-win situation for all parties involved. You can bring home a new best friend that is already well cared for while doing something positive for your community at the same time. So if you’re thinking of adding a furry friend to your family, consider checking out a shelter first! Who knows, you may just be able to give the perfect pet the forever home they’ve been dreaming of.

Join us in saving thousands of lives every year and providing a loving home for one of these amazing creatures! You won't regret it.

Weekend Adoption Events:

Our adoption events are held every weekend at various PetSmart and Petco locations in the Fort Worth Area. We often post a few of the highly anticipated pets you can expect to see available the night before each adoption event. Our adoption events are very popular and many of our kittens and puppies coming to them are coming straight from foster care! You never know who you are going to meet!

Pets cannot be reserved in advance, so we highly recommend arriving early to view all pets we have available!
